About Christopher

Bridger, Montana

Bridger High School

Christopher Brian Taylor was born 2 months early on December 3, 1974. He came into this world fighting for his life and was a wonderful healthy child; the first grandchild of Robert and Margaret Wham. He was loved by many from the day of his birth as well as in death. Chris was my cousin but if you saw us together you would have seen best friends. I was 5 years younger than him and he always watched out for me. He included me in things that the other cousins did not. He was my best friend. He attended school in the small town of Bridger, MT where he enjoys playing football, basketball, baseball, and a number of other sports and activities. Chris loved his family and was always very caring toward those he knew as well as those he didn't. He and his little sister, Kodi, fought like crazy but loved eachother just the same. When he was 15 or 16 he welcomed his little brother, Robbi, and 14 months later Jared was born. He also had two step-sisters that he loved. His mother was very proud of her son as was his dad. On Feb. 22, 1991 during a blizzard he was in a car accident with some of his friends. Chris passed away that night along with three others that were in the car. They had not been drinking or doing anything to contribute to the accident; it was just that, an accident. It was night with a blinding blizzard as they attempted to drive down a country road. In an instant the road was gone and the car fell down a ravine. It was a horrid night for a small town as well as for many people. Chris was loved by all, envied by some, and remembered by all that knew him. Chris led a full life even though it was cut short. He is greatly missed!

  • I miss Chris and think of him every day. As I am sure everyone from our small school does. His sister Amanda is in my son's class, and I see his dad around town often, and think how much Chris looked like him. [...]

  • Hey buddy. Well, it's been 20 years to the day that you left the world. Just wanted you to know that I still think about you every day. We had the kind of friendship that would have lasted our entire lives, and I miss you so much. [...]
