Kegan was born November 24, 1991 and went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2008. He and two of his friends were driving down a gravel road in the afternoon. They lost control of the car, went off the road and landed in a mine pit full of water. All 3 were trapped and drowned. This day forever changed my life. My only child gone. Kegan was so full of life. He always wanted peace with everyone. Yet he had that rebel in him. Kegan was such a great baby, child, teen and was well on his way of being a great man. He was by no means a saint but Kegan had a heart for everyone around him. Kegan could have done some really good works for the Lord here but Lord wanted him home.

Kegan had such an amazing way about him. He was very quiet but he had a heart of pure gold. He was always kind and very considerate of others. The best memories I have of Kegan are from the morning club at the Central City Pool. [...]

I have many memories of Kegan but one that goes through my mind a lot is about 3 weeks before the accident. We were sitting there and he said "mom I don't want you to be alone". He was talking about the fact he would be graduating soon and "living his life". [...]
